Great Burgers
I read about the burgers here a while ago, and being a burger fan, I had to try it out. The two burger spots that I usually go to is Donovan's in Woodside and Peter Luger. There are now 3 burger spots that I go to. Although this may be twice the price of Donovan's, it's still well worth it. I also tried the roasted bone marrow once and really, really (no, really) liked it. I've been to Landmarc twice and have been very pleased with my experience. I never had a problem with service and like the look of the place. If you're willing to shell out $18 for a burger WITH fries, salad, and their slamming pickels, give it a shot.

I disagree, I like this place
Usually dont write these kinds of things but I so disagree with the reviews.....This place is fun, child friendly, funky and yummy. Yes the service could be a tiny bit better but really, they are not so bad and they are friendly. The atmosphere is serious yet funky. I like this place, always have and I will keep going back.

What happened?
I used to love Landmarc: the simple American food, the wine program, the family-friendly attitude. I liked it so much that I went there for my birthday recently. A mistake. When I couldn't cut my steak I asked for a new knife, thinking it was blunt. The new knife couldn't cut it either and of course I couldn't chew it. To give them credit, they took it off the bill, but it spoiled my birthday celebration. And it wasn't cheap!

Service at Time Warner Center needs work fast
I love Landmarc downtown. Uptown, not so much. Went 2 nights ago with a friend just to change it up. Should have met downtown as usual. The women in charge of seating were surly, dumb, creepily depressed, and completely incompetent. The bartenders were surly and incompetent (how long did we have to wait to close out the tab in order to sit for dinner? does it really take THAT long to run a receipt)? People, do your jobs. You don't want to work at a restaurant, then don't.

great food but hectic atmosphere
happened by this restaurant before going to the theater. accomodated us right away, excellent service and food. but atmosphere was very noisy - lots of young families and social groups. not a good choice if you want quiet or romantic. also, very pricey for what you get, but the food was terrific.

Save your $$$ and don't eat here!
The atmosphere is alright, nice views of Columbus Circle. Had the french onion soup-it was disappointing. The mussels were pretty good. My girlfriend got the tuna-not that great either. So consensus, probably a good place to grab a drink with friends, not so much to eat. There are so many better resturants in the city and why eat here when it not great and it's expensive? I'll be spending my hard earned cash else where!

Depressing Design
This is the dreariest looking restaurant in New York City. Who approved that black ceiling? Needs some color, lightness, design. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.
