Taste the Dynamic!!
I recently sat down to an unexpected surprise mid-lunch-shopping spree at Landmarc in the Time Warner Center mall. I was informed by our waiter that they had undergone a recent menu change and that my favorite "Octopus Salad" was no longer available. I opted for the reduced portion and figured; the heck with it! I ordered nearly one of every appetizer and side dish( leaving just enough room for my salad). What I got was a trip 1/2 way round the world accompanied by flavors Ive known my entire life. How about the day's fried vegetable(eggplant, onions, and sqash and such) in a succulent sweeet tomato sauce(?) FORget it! the taste nearly overpowered my Amarone! Medium rare skirt steak on a frise' salad with bleu cheese? MUAH! Veal cut nearly scallopini in an escarole and chickpea infusion? to me, Nearly redifined the word "ChickPea" entirely! The love continued dish after dish; side after side. Resulting ultimately in my octopus salad evolving into a new dish altogether and morphing into a culinary plethora of taste! I couldnt make it to dessert and a cappuccino; I jested to my assistant " Only if they could deliver it " Low and behold ; they can! Finishing my experience in the comfort of my own home!! VIOLA! I will definitely come back .

Bye bye
the last time I went to landmarc the onion soup was very good. This time it was more than dreadful, the cheese turned into cement after 4 minutes and I had to try and cut it with a knife. This food is just plain overpriced. I tried a open face sandwich of eggplant, goat cheese and tomato. $13. As I walked home past the many pizza places on the UWS I knew a slice say from somewhere else, would've been heaven compared to the thing I was served. $28 plus tip $30+ for what? Never again. Bye bye landmarc.

Really poor service/mediocre food
Didn't read the reviews before I went and was not surprised to now find all the complaints about the service. For these prices and the location in TW Center, the service is inexcusable. I don't care if the Host or waiters have attitudes, I'm not there to spend time with them. But, get your kitchen working properly. The steaks came very quickly after the salad and they just forgot about the side dishes. When i asked about them five minutes after the steaks came, the waiter shrugged and said he would check. When I found another waiter five minutes after that, He said he would check. 15 minutes after the steaks the side dishes finally came. So for 15 minutes, you sit there eating at slow pace, not wanting to finish before the sides and deciding whether to even accept them after a certain amount of time. Not a real pleasant dining experience. And the sides weren't that good, the mushroom were hard and dry. And the steak ordered medium had not even a hint of pink. The place is not worth it at all.

Fool me once
I should have read the reviews. The service was beyond poor. Indeed, it was inexcusable. The front end staff and waiters were cold, impersonal, and disinterested. When asked for a recommendation, the waiter merely shrugged his shoulders. Moreover, our steaks were brought to the table about five minutes after the appetizers. I've heard of moving tables, but that's ridiculous. Steak was good, but everything else sucked!

Food is ok, but service is poor
I honestly come here and eat only the Caesar salad, the burger, and the dessert sampler. I don't feel that the prices on the entrées are warranted. The atmosphere is nice, the views are great, if you get a table near the window. The service is the big problem. The staff is cold, unwelcoming, phony (and not in a good way). Quite frankly, you are left hanging through out dinner. They make you feel like you are just another item that needs to be processed on an assembly line.

Good food but too kid friendly
Always enjoy a visit to Landmarc for brunch, lunch or dinner. Food is reliable and waiters are very friendly. Problem is it is like going to a kids' restaurant - full of young children at all hours. The outside wall is a stroller parking lot...not sure that is what the owners had in mind...turn off for those without kids who show up at 8pm on a Sat night

Wanna be.
Last night it was my first time going to this restaurant. The service was poor. we waited at the bar for a table and the waiter was rude. The view was nice but the whole area was so cold freezing and the reason for that was that we were sitting next to an all glass window. Never heard of this. The food was to be desired I don't know where the inspiration comes from for a very spicy Mediterranean salad. The food was overpriced comparing the quality and taste. The manager when was asked if they had matches start laughing, i don't know what was funny about it. The only good thing there was the wine list. The overall atmosphere is mall restaurant- chain like.
