Great Little Spot for Thai
I have been looking for a great Thai place with good value and Land Thai has both. Great food and fast service. The small narrow dining area is a little too close for comfort but the food makes up for the tight squeeze that you do to get to your table. Land is accomadating to all levels of preferences of spice and flavours.

Best Thai in area, maybe NYC
Having tried many Thai restaurants in the city, Land Thai is arguably the best. Finally, a NYC restaurant that does not back away from bringing the spicy heat in its menu (which is fully adjustable to your level of comfort at request).

Best Thai!
Delicious Food! Arguably the best Thai in NYC ... this coming from someone who is a Thai food connoisseur. One of the things I'm most impressed with is the size of the Thai Ice Tea. Usually, when you order thai ice tea at a restaurant, they bring you a slim glass with heaps of ice, 2 schlurps of tea and you're done. At Land, the Thai ice tea comes in a huge ginger pot shaped vessel for lack of a better word ... it's practically bottomless! They've got a great decor, though it's a tight fit with the people sitting next to you ... totally worth it! There is usually a wait, but they've got a great deal with the bar next door, for discount drinks ... and then they call you on your cell phone to let you know your table is available.

Best Thai on the UWS
Very flavorful food! I can't stand most of the places on this side of town, but this one is always a pleasure. I usually get it for lunch because the lunch special comes at an incredible price and portion size. You can't go wrong....especially with the veggie dumplings...yum! Only thing I have not loved is the pad thai...but pad thai in general is so tired an played out its like ordering a cheeseburger...so I can't truly fault them because it may just be me. Other than that I give it two thumbs up.

indescribably bland
great atmosphere at this local spot, but tonight i had the displeasure of eating the blandest green curry this side of bangkok. they must've watered down the coconut milk with regular milk because the broth was almost translucent and with zero flavor. i'd give this place another shot but will definitely take a different ordering strategy.

great food, quaint, clean and nicely decorated but small space
This is a great little nook of a place with pleasant service and quality meals. I live in the 'hood and go here once a month and have never had a bad meal or service. It is small and therefore can be loud so it's not really a great first date place. The decor and lighting does the best it can to help combat the lack of space. If you want good Thai this is the best in a 15 block area. They also have quick and good take out service!

Love it!
When I moved up to the UWS I doubted that I would find a great Thai place up here. Then on the recommendation of a friend I gave Land a try and I couldn't be happier. The food is spicy and definitely tasty, the delivery always arrives in 15 minutes, and the food is a very good value. The restaurant is too small to eat in on the weekend because there is always a wait, but it makes for great delivery!
