I can see why the place is so popular with the Upper West Side crowd, who may never have eaten a good plate of Thai food before (seeing as there are only a half dozen places between 50th and 125th). A native of Seattle (where there are three Thai restaurants a block), I have searched high and low for good noodles in New York. I was disappointed. The food is okay, if too sweet, not hot and a bit on the bland side. The decor is nice, though, and the waitstaff is generically pleasant (though it make take signal flares to get them over to your table).

After suffering through numerous failed thai food experiences on the upper west - it was fantastic to discover this new gem - delicious thai food served in a pleasant if crowded space at a great price!

What a cute place. Went there for Valentine's day and had a great experience. The service was okay, but the atmosphere and food were first rate. Great presentation and flavor. The chef recognizes that we eat with our eyes first and then our other senses kick in. A great find and the prices are even better.

Great thai food in a beautiful little restaurant...chicken curry puffs & drunken noodles were excellent! The best thai food in Manhattan!

Land is absolutely delicious. I had the chicken puffs and calamari for an appetizer, a lot of flavor. The green curry chicken dish was really spicy and bursting with flavor. The service is great. While we waited we went to the bar next door and the host came in and found us and let us know our table was ready. Desserts are also exquisite. My favorite part was that you left feeling full but not gross. You weren't bloated and tired from eating fatty, greasy food. It was good and you left feeling satiated.

I was there on friday night. The food didn't seem like real Thai, but they are very busy. Service is good. Atmosphere is fun. I won't recommend to my friend.
