    Lunch special shrunk badly!

We used to eat lunch here often. The other day we went for lunch and the usually large pad thai had been cut by 3/4 of it's former size! I was shocked. It used to be a nice generous portion. Now it was a few noodles on a plate. I will never go back. Terribly stingy portion. Not even worth the lunch price.

    Very unappetizing food

We ordered from this place for the first time after Jasmine closed. Unfortunately the experience was pretty disappointing. My wife's noodles were flavorless and mushy. My cashew chicken had more red pepper in it than cashews. Even though we both like thai food we wont order from this place again.

Best Salmon Appetisers and Noodles in Manhattan

You cannot find better Thai food in all of the USA except for their other restaurant on the Westside. It has become our favorite restaurant in Manhattan, along with many of our friends. How they can produce that quality of food for such a cheap price is beyond me.

    Best Thai on the UES

Being a long-time fan of both Land Thai Restaurants, I feel compelled to write something in response the not so favorable recent reviews. Land Northeast Thai is consistently great and one of the best values for lunch in the neighborhood. I often order in an am never disappointed. The specials are always inventive, the green curry is perfectly balanced, and the chef knows how to bring the heat if that is your heart's desire. Delivery is always quick and delicious. LOVE the shrimp parcels , papaya salad, and the chicken curry puffs. The duck breast is amazing and you can't go wrong with any of the seafood dishes. When dining at the restarant, the attention to detail, friendly and efficient service, lovely decor, fabulous table top and expertly prepared food all come together for a very satisfying dining experience. These folks are passionate pros and experts in hospitality. Long live LAND!

    never disappoints

i'm not sure what other reviewers keep talking about. i've lived on the UES for the past 2 years and Land has been consistently good - both with their deliveries and dine-in. i recently went with my family a few weeks ago and the staff was accommodating, friendly and attentive. besides, it's an amazing value for the quality of the food. you can't go wrong...

    Curry Lover

I love green curry and I've been on the search for the best. I've read some of these reviews and I'd have to disagree. Land has one of the best green curries in the city. Not too spicy, not watered down, not too oily... it's just right. I"ll be back for more soon.

    How many "A's" in BAD?!

I just had my first meal at Land. What a mistake. I read the recent reviews that made it clear that the quality of the food and service had really dropped in the past few months. The earlier reviews were fantastic. My experience, unfortunately was consistent with the recent reviews. I had the vegetable dumplings to start - big mistake. They were very greasy and gummy. One bite was one too much. Next was green curry chicken. The sauce was very runny, the rice sticky and mushy and the eggplant was pure much. A few bites was all that I could do. I also tried the Thai iced tea. Yuck! It tasted like cream of carrot juice with a gallon of sugar. Please, save me. Needless to say I left disappointed and really hungry. Fortunately I was going to a movie after so thank God for popcorn!
