Love!
I love this place! It IS kind of a hole in the wall, but in a comforting, cozy, zen way. I highly recommend the seitan dishes, particularly the banh mi and noodles, as well as the summer rolls. Service is always fine; I've even gotten some smiles out of the usually stone-faced male owner. My only complaint is that they are often closed.

hit or miss
If you pick the right dishes you will be satisfied. Try the vegan roast pork. The place is a small storefront . The service is lacking, though and the service there's not too great.

kind of tastey junk health
Once I realized the unhealthy ingredients I stopped eating there.Too bad. I miss the sugary, fatty, dairy laid faux health food.

Addictive
The flavor of every dish in this restaurant is outstanding. pho soup lemongrass vermicelli summer rolls The operation is so well run by the owner taking care of the front, while a few lovely ladies are working hard in the kitchen. I take all my friends there when I'm trying to convert them to veganism =)

Very good but pricey
Everything we ordered was very good - flavorful, fresh and light but satisfying (summer rolls w/peanut sauce were excellent) but like many restaurants on this site, the prices were higher than listed. Two appetizers, 1 entrée & 1 side dish (all fairly small portions) came to over $35. I will definitely order from here again – it’s better quality than many places, but it’s not “cheap eats.”

Excellent Veggie Vietnamese
Grew up in southern Calif and the food here is pretty close to true Vietnamese for vegetarians. Staff are really nice, though quiet. The only thing that wasn't great were the vermicelli noodles. They were way overcooked and too soft.
