Great takeout pasta
This is one of the best places in the area for takeout pasta. Involtini, lasagna, and daily specials are all superb, served with your choice of delicious sauces. The room is very small, making the dining experience here less than optimal, but that's where the takeout takes over. Highly recommended.

Gramercy gem
Favorite of locals. Prices are good. Pastas are really excellent - try the "aurora". Soups are great also, and different. Broccoli rabe has veal and potatoes. Gazpacho is unusual and good. Selection of salads that you can mix and match are o.k. Owner is curmudgeon. Called "cheese shop". Cheese choice is limited but they're aged in the cellar. Staff is knowledgable.
