It's the Pesto!
If someone can tell me of a better Pesto in the city, please email me immediately because in my humble opinion, Lamarca's pesto is the BEST IN NYC. And believe me, I love pesto.

Delicious neighborhood italian
I thought this place had very delicious, uncomplicated, well-prepared hearty food. The service is extremely warm and the servings generous. I liked that the waiters had definite favorites when asked - they really steered us right. We couldn't even come close to finishing all of our food. Great spot when the weather is cold and you just want something warm and comforting like nonna would have made.

Great!
Excellent chicken parmigiana. Great salad and delicious bread comes along with any meal. I have done delivery about 10 times and it has always been perfect.

Great everyday italian!
This wonderful little neighborhood gem reminds me of the small trattoria I would have dinner at every night after classes while studying overseas in Siena, Italy. It is an excellent value with every entree you'll receive a personal loaf of warm Italian bread and a small house salad with yummy grape tomatoes and a sweet dressing. The food is consistently good everyday Italian, nothing too complicated. You will feel like you just ate in a relative's kitchen and you'll go home full with money still in your wallet. I only wish they served dessert and were open on weekends!

Great in-house dining, Poor Delivery
It's a great place to go for dinner, service is great. However, if you order delivery, be prepared for a headache. I've ordered from them several times and have yet to get a perfect order. You must specify if you want utensils and re-emphasize any condiments you may want. Also - on two occassions I've ordered a salad and received no dressing. The last call I made, I was told to call back in a minute because the person was on the phone. I've also been overcharged. Lesson learned - reiterate everything twice, and even after that, hope for the best.

Small rest feel, homey taste, good value, great service. only wish they were open on weekends.

No thanks
Most of the pasta plates they serve have the same tomato sauce. I mean pasta with marinara sause , arabiata , putanesca , sausage, eggplant rolotini , stuffed mushrooms, chicken parmigiana , calamari and who knows how many other plates......(i speak only for those i,d taste) they put on that same sauce........ nothing tastes different.
