Poor customer service
In late October, I walked in and asked for a large Brooklyn Blackout cake with Happy Birthday! written on it. The guy behind the counter said he already had a cake with that written on it. When you pay nearly $30, you don't expect to find a cake that had a name rubbed out under Happy Birthday when you open the box! I could not believe he sold me such a cake. He made no effort to fix the spot where they had rubbed out someone's name. I will never go back there.

A daily favorite
I get a morning tea and often delicious scone (banana walnut is my favorite) at Ladybird everyday. The staff is very friendly. Great way to start the day. Their Brooklyn Blackout cupcakes are to die for. I love this bakery so much, I had them cater my wedding!

Best Coconut Cake Ever
Everything I've had from there is fantastic but the coconut cake stands out for me.

The best cupcake I have ever had!
Now, of course, I can only speak per my experiences and I can't say that I eat cupcakes from across the globe, but gosh darn it, they have the best cupcakes I have EVER eaten! Better then the way overhyped Magnolia's, better then Crumb's, Cupcake Factory, etc. Try their Red Velvet or Brooklyn Blackout.... simply sublime. But unfortunately they are Manhattan prices.
