I can't comment on the other items on the menu because i only had the Fish Sandwich, but it was quite honestly excellent. It wasn't greasy and Lady Octopus gives you a big serving of fish for your sandwich. The fish was nice and crispy with great seasoning and it was only $3.50. I have to get another one. Excellent.

Came in about 6PM on a weekday looked at the menu to decide what to get. Went up to order and the lady told me to get out because they were closed. They didn't close or door or mention anything to me about closing when I was deciding. Very rude.

My title says it all. The food is great, fresh and fairly priced. Eating a meal here wont break the bank, have you leave hungry or angry you went there. The service is fast and friendly. I just wish the fish was not all fried.

It's cheap, quick, and a bit cozy feeling. Used to live nearby and it always looked so empty that I think I avoided it for a while. Finally I went in one day, starving, and was happily surprised by the cheap prices. However, the majority of things seemed deep fried. My food was fine, and I could have seen myself coming here a lot but I never got into the habit of it. If you live in the area, it's definitely worth a visit, but I'd say don't go out of your way to come here.

Me and my wife have been going there for years. Even though we moved to Queens, we still go there when we visit Brooklyn. Lady Octopus is very sweet and courteous and her husband is a very nice guy. The food is delicious. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is pleasant.. Many NYPD officers always eat there. Hope she moves to Ridgewood Queens.

The place isn't much on decor but the food is good, the place is clean and the prices are amazing. Plenty of non fried items on the menu ... The Husband is a nice guy ... but the wife can be moody ... but i'm a New Yorker and my ego can take it ..lol

The place is mostly a take out place. With lots of fried seafood. I'll say is average, but definitely great for lunch when you want something FRIED.
