Great pizza
This is a really good restaurant. Not too fancy but elegant. We had the speciale deep dish pizza and the DOC with buffalo mozzarella. Both were very good. I liked the deep dish more than the other. Will be back to try other items. All the food being brought out to other customers looked very appetizing. Service was also top notch !

Well, I LOVE their pizza!
The previous reviewer and I have something in common - quest for best pizza in Bk. I've only eaten the grandma's pizza with pepperoni at La Villa, but that alone is fantastic! Perfectly salted thick crust, easy on the sauce, plenty of quality cheese and toppings. That's all I need. I've also had their penne a la vodka - WOW. and WOW. And I usually hate ceaser salad but this is the only ceaser salad I've had that I licked the plate clean.

most mediocre pizza
My gf and I are on a quest to have the best pizza in brooklyn. I can say with sincerity La Villa does not have it. The margherita pizza greasy flat bread, flavorless tomato sauce, and bland mozzarella cheese. I gave it 3.0 for food because the potato croquettes were really good and worth mentioning. Maybe I should have had the pasta. Anyway if pizza is what you're looking for try Pizza Roma's fresh moz. Its counter pizza and there isn't a wait like grimaldis.

We have only gotten delivery but every single thing is DELICIOUS! Honestly, one of the best Italian places around.

Great Sicilian Pizza!!
I really like this restaurant. The sauce is very tasty and the cheeses are excellent. I must say, the bread they give you before the meal is amazing!! The staff is very, very friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, the place is clean, and you can always catch a glimpse of the game on the television, which hangs silently over the open kitchen. I am a pizza freak and so I don't take reviews of pizza lightly. In my opinion this is one of the very best Sicilian slices in NYC. Their oven is fantastic!! I don't dislike the regular pie, but if you do want pizza, opt for the Sicilian - you will NOT be disappointed. However, know this: the pizza is not cheap. It will cost over $20 for a full pie. It's not terribly overpriced, but just not cheap. Also, they often have specials - if they offer the lentil soup definitely go for it.

Fantastic Local Place
La Villa is our go-to place for excellent Italian food and a great family atmosphere. When we order out we mostly get the pizza and it is easily the best in the neighborhood. Eating in is fun and the menu is full of tasty dishes made with very fresh ingredients. We eat in, or order out, at least once a week. It is not the cheapest option, but an excellent one.
