Like being back in Paris (for the portions)!
Went for lunch today. Ordered canneloni with mushrooms. Food arrived relatively quickly, but barely lukewarm, salt and spices non existent (and I am on a low sodium diet, just to say!). For a minute, I thought I was back in Paris where restaurants are known for their stinginess and serving minuscule portions. With so many good Italian places in NY, you must be a tourist to go there at these prices and noise levels! Food court for suckers...

So disappointed
As a foodie, this was so sad as I was sorely disappointed. Le Verdure made an image on promising the highest quality ingredients but did NOT deliver. The wine and service were good, however, mediocre food that was not up to any Italian standards is what we were offered. The pea salad was under seasoned even in a minimalist way and had almost no discernable grand parmesan. cauliflower special of the day which had pearl couscous, braised cauliflower with breadcrumbs. The cauliflower was not extraordinarily fresh and was not cooked appropriately, it was burned and the oil had been cooked in before. The couscous was too chewy meaning it wasn’t cooked with the right amount of liquid. Not only were the ingredients low quality, the ingredients were sparingly placed on the plate! My meal was $21 and for that rate, I did expect a single portion of good quality food.

Le Overpriced
Overpriced food court is being nice. Zip on atmosphere. Noisy crowed!!! I can think of much better places to eat. Especially New York Italian. I guess New Yorkers are suckers for hype.

Fav counter at Eataly
Le Verdure is my favorite counter at Eataly. Try the specials of the day. Everything is fresh and deliciously prepared.

Fun casual dinner
Totally worth the wait, which actually wasn't bad at all. Everything was fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is a little hectic, but it adds to the fun.

Expensive food court dining
I ate at La Verdure the first week that Eataly opened. The food was tasty, but my minestrone was heavily oversalted and my stuffed pepper special was served ice cold. Prices for wine by the glass are a little expensive, with the most reasonable being $9 for a red. The most unpleasant part of the experience, beyond the wait, was the fact that you are essentially sitting in the middle of a shopping mall, and still paying $15 for your deck of cards sized lasagna. Once was enough....
