Went for dinner with a group of 9. Service was excellent! Very accommodating for the kids. Food was average. Overall, meals were good, but chicken and veal a little overcooked. Kids had spaghetti and meatballs-loved the spaghetti and sauce, but not the meatballs. Meat sauce was mostly meat, little sauce, very oily. Raviolis were excellent! You can tell they are homemade. Food could have been a little hotter. Ordered from the pre fixed menu which is not the price listed on their website. Would go back again, but now know what to order and what not to order.

My husband and I decided to try a new place for a nice dinner so we came to La Trattoria in Brooklyn for the first time tonight. We were very impressed. The service, food, atmosphere, everything was excellent. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed. What restaurant offers you all of this and music for your dining pleasure. The female keyboard player was very good. We highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant not only serves great food, but the waiters serve you with a smile! Everybody is friendly and respectful. The sauce is amazing! I can never decide what to eat because it's ALL so good!

Their sauce is as good as it gets. Excellent place to take a family because it's relatively inexpensive.

This place is usually crowded and on the weekends you will wait for a table. It's been in business for a long while and that means the locals (myself included) know a good neighborhood Italian restaurant is worth frequenting. You won't find unusual or exotic food here, but you will find simple quality food well prepared at a reasonable price. My favorites include the Zuppa di mussels, fried calamari, and anything parmagiana (shrimp, chicken, veal).
