Nice Romantic Evening
My husband and I went here and had a nice romantic evening. The restaurant has a cozy ambience with good energy. The food and service were excellent. My only gripe if any is that the portions of our main meals were on the smaller side and the food is somewhat pricey. The owner walks around talking to his guests which is nice. He makes sure that his waiters do the right thing though they were great. He mentioned that the restauarant has been in busy for quite some time, so obviously they're doing enough right. Overall a very enjoyable evening!

Great little place
Ripalille is a great spot for an intimate dinner. The food is very good and authentic, the space cozy and the husband and wife that run the restaurant are always very friendly. It's a great change from the typical ny restaurant.

not to go back to
In brief, the food is mediocre and the portions are absurdly small. For the first time in my life, we went out for pizza after eating here. This was altogether not a satisfying experience.

Exceptional
I went to La Ripaille looking for a romantic spot and my girlfriend and I keep coming back. The food is superb (the broccoli mousse is out...of...this...world) the wine list is thorough and the atmosphere is a pleasure.
