I like the food and they have new employee...now they speak english

Last night i eating in this restaurant and the food was delicios ....and the waitress speaks english very well.

I am one that eats at the local restaurant daily and I find this to be the most disappointing. In the past I have called for delivery and the person just hung up on me. I called back and another person answered the telephone and stated "We don't deliver and again just hung up!! Yet they continue to to flood the neighborhood with menu's stating they deliver. Today I actually had gone into the restaurant with my wife to sit at a table and it took an exceptionally long time before someone came to take our order, mind you the place was empty. When the food arrived it was not the best meal ever but trying to look on the bright side, didn't complain. My wife was going to pay using her credit card but the waitress states something is wrong with the machine. I had to leave my wife to go down the block to use my own credit card to take out cash which was a killer because of the $15 fee. I returned to pay for the meal and the person just took her tip and placed it in her pocket before even giving me my change. A disappointed customer from the neighborhood!

Some of the best food in Washington Heights. Plenty of vegetarian options and sensibly priced. There's kareoke some nights, which is noisy, but a good laugh. Only problem is that the waitresses don't speak English!

Earlier today I ordered delivery from this restaurant. After waiting an hour I called to find out where my food was. The lady on the phone did not speak any English. Finally she told me that there was a $10 minimum for delivery, and promptly hung up. This was an hour after being told that my food was on the way. I would have eagerly spent another $1 to meet the minimum, but I didn't even get the opportunity. Maybe some other time I'll taste the food.

I've ordered from La Posada after hearing someone compliment the food. In this neighborhood I have another go-to spot for authentic Mexican. The carnitas burrito was good (once I actually got it- like another reviewer said, it is difficult to order over the phone if you don't speak Spanish...on a slow nite, it took over an hour for the food to come because they couldn't understand where I lived, though I'm only 4 blocks away), but for about the same price, I prefer other place's burritos, which are slightly larger and better put together.
