    Attitude Stinks

Wouldn't give me hot red pepper flakes for my pizza --- waved a pepper mill in my face with maximum arrogance (you can get hot red pepper flakes at Del Posto, for God's sake!). Way disproportionate sense of self. And pizza was mushy. . . .

    a surprising wine list

The name is misleading: it's more a trattoria than a pizzeria. (Though the pizza is great.) What will surprise you are the fine service and excellent wine list. Not a pizza joint, but a real place to eat.

    not always pizza

Nice little Italian restaurant in Gramercy, but they don't always have the pizza oven turned on (especially early in the evening), so -- despite the name -- you may not be able to enjoy a pizza. That said, their pasta was al dente and tasty, if a bit heavy on the oil. A relatively inexpensive place for a quick dinner.

    Good pizza

While the servers tend to be a little standoffish and can make you feel like a bother, I really like this place. The pizza is delicious and surprisingly light depending on what kind you order. The pasta dishes I've tried have been delicious and I love a place that offers half orders of them. Good to split as an appetizer. Good wine selection but go on pay day. Not cheap but a cool little place with a lot to offer. Don't get that pork tenderloin app with the tuna caper sauce, though. I had it about 3 years ago and I can still taste it.

    So so...

This restaurant is a little over rated. The pizza was good however, the crust was a little chewy. Not what I expected from a wood burning oven. I had the short ribs which were not as tender as they should be and somewhat fatty. The portions were small. For the price of the food I expected more.

    Love this place!

The authentic Naples Pizza, thin crust and very fresh ingredients. I'm big fun of LPF pizza and Margherta. Pasta and the other dishes are great with their wine list. The wine list is huge. The staff helps their wine selection in Italian way. I take my guests to LPF. They love Italian experience in NYC.

    So good... funny place...

So good- went there with Italian friends. If they like it-you know it has to be good. Better then Babbo. Quirky staff- bartender poured me a glass of red wine that was different then the one I asked for. It was "better" so I didn't complain. It's just unorganized- so very typicaly italian if you know what I mean...
