Best Italian comfort food in UWS
Wow! first time leaving comments... I had chicken parmigiana, tortellini... dish and Ceasar salad. All came in HUGE portions and yummy! Delivery was rather slow side tho. But food was steaming hot when it arrived. Would order again from this restaurant.

Good food. Poor service
Where do I begin. The waiter( an elderly gentleman) brought the salad dressing but never brought our salads. Once the food was served. He was not seen again until we're waived him down to get the check. A request for more napkins was never brought. Water never filled.it was empty except for one other table and now I know why. In all fairness the food( I had spagetti and. Meat sauce, my date had chicken fracaiss which she said oil and garlic instead of marinara, but maranari was brought anyway. ( we didn't see the waiter again so couldn't complain. ) but when then service is this bad it brings down everything else.

Wonderful!
While it is a really small place we went really late and there were not many people inside. The food was amazing and affordable. The service was truly some of the best I have had in the city. The kitchen is very accomodating for changes on menu items. Wonderful dining experience.

Great food, great spirit
Our family loves this place - kind, attentive service and great well-priced food. The space is small and the decor is a bit dated but frankly those things just make me love the place more at this point. All heart (and good food).

Delightful dinner
Very glad that we decided to try this small (8 tables) neighborhood restaurant. Not fancy, but attention to details make table settings and dining experience appealing. Food was fresh and tasty, portions more than ample ... warm fresh bread, tasty chicken dish with artichoke hearts, mozzarella and tasty cream sauce (sauce a bit thick). Cesar salad better than several other neighborhood restaurants. We went for early dinner. It was not busy and was quiet, with pleasant music. Do not know how it is when busy. The owner/chef was extremely accomodating as was the waiter. Would recommend this restaurant - Not gourmet, but very good food at very fair prices.

Great Sandwiches!
Chicken and Veal Parm Sandwiches are amazing! Italian bread was fresh and so was the chicken and veal. Will definitely come back again!

Best eggplant parm anywhere
I know that that's quite a statement, but being a vegetarian eggplant parm is often my meal of choice. And the marinara sauce is as good as you'll find almost anywhere.
