A lovely brunch!
We looked at all of these different restaurants on greenwich ave, and decided upon La Palette. We went right when it opened, and no one was there except for us. We sat in the charming back garden and had unbelievably quick and wonderful service. The staff was concerning and very polite. The food was really good. I ordered the crepe with strawberries and nutella, and it was absolutely phenomenal. I definitely plan to return to this pleasant little restaurant.

Great Neighborhood Joint
The drinks are excellent, and authentically Brazilian. The food is delicious and prepared consistently. The ingredients are top notch. The waitstaff often feel like they're on vacation, and not too concerned with your service, but, then, isn't that authentically Brazilian, too? Either way, the food is worth it. I'm not totally sure what's up with the Brazilian/French mash-up on the menu, but it works.

Perfect for brunch and/or cocktails
Let's see: the crèpe with caramel (dolce de leite) is sinfully decadent and excellent. The caipirinhas were pretty good, but that's not saying much considering how difficult it is to find good cachaça in New York. (Still, raw sugar would probably be more flavorful than plain white sugar.) The service is great and the atmosphere is casual, romantic and easygoing. And everything on the menu is affordable enough to make this a regular Village hangout spot.

Great brunch
This is my favorite brunch in the city. The portions are more than generous, the selection is great and I recommend the complimentary fresh squeezed juice mimosas. Great Eggs Benedict and French Toast. The brunch is a bargain for all that you get. The place is small but cozy with comfortable seating. In warm weather go out to the back patio to enjoy a relaxing meal. Waitstaff is attentive but not intrusive.

Bad food, good atmosphere
Very friendly service, nice party atmosphere but oversauced and overcooked food. And it was poorly presented.

What is this?
A very confused menu consisting of poor quality meals with no presentation whatsoever. This isn't French and it's not Brazilian either; it's not even a mix of the two; it's whatever. The food is subpar and only those who do not know what those two cuisines are like, heck, what any decent food tastes like will return here.
