Words cannot express how great of an experience La Nueva can be. With so many stuffy, over-priced "restaurants" in nyc, its increddibly refreshing to have a meal at La Nueva. I tend to stick to the spanish side of the menu (The boneless friend chicken is absolutely amazing). We also love the chinese dumplings. My girlfriend usually orders off the chinese side..the general tso's is actually very good too. Be sure to get the plaintains maduras and the black bean side-order with your chicken. The 'tropical cocktails' the restaurant offers are also very delicious and strong. All in all, nothing really beats a good meal at La Nueva. Hi Maddy!

Where else could I get two of my favorite types of food- Chinese and Latin. The drinks will knock you off your feet-literally they are very strong but yummy.

La Nueva - best place to get 2 whole lobsters + rice and other sides for around $30. They have some sort of minced garlic that they broil the lobster with - the flavor is amazing. The staff there is super friendly and attentive. It's a festive atmosphere and I can't remember ever seeing it empty. Fried rice is great - esp if you tell them to make it darker. Great shrimp in garlic sauce too.

The sweet and sour chicken is amazing. The best I ever had. The house fried rice is out of this world. A place to try for an inexpensive lunch. Nothing fancy.

Cheap and yummy food. I have been coming to Victoria's for 15 years now. I love that you can combine lobster, steak, or any Chinese dish with rice and beans, or fried plantains (tostones). Delivery is fast and reliable too.
