La Nonna Pizzeria Trattoria Paninoteca

This place is really reasonably priced and modest, but the pizza and pasta is outrageously good. I can't deal with eating there bc the atmosphere is awful -- very tacky, crammed, and terrible loud Italian music. Delivery is great. Thank goodness for la nonna.

the food here is bomb, this much is apparent, but ordering food? the guy was rushing me the whole time and screaming at me the whole time. i realize it may be annoying to take down a credit card number when youre in a busy kitchen, but you guys are supposed to be open for business. be nice

No only is the regular menu great, the specials are inventive, fresh and bursting with flavor. The pizza is one of the best in Brooklyn. The prices are very reasonable, sometimes downright cheap.

Given the stellar reviews I was prepared to have a pizza that would be akin to DeFaro's. The pizza and salad were fresh and well prepared...but bland. Flavor was lacking, although we had garlic and sausage on our pie. Wait staff was pleasant and attentive and I love Pellegrino soft drinks, so that was a nice perk. Overall it was a decent meal. Nothing to rave about.

No seriously. Best Pizza I've ever ever had. EVER.

The regular menu looks ok but I've never had it. I've been here at least 5 times and every time I have one of the pasta specials. DELICIOUS home made pasta and sauces. Might be the best Italian food in the whole city.

This is the first review I have ever left and am leaving it precisely because of how good this place is. Please try it. Totally delicious.
