For delicious dishes and comfortable atmosphere, nothing in New York is better than La Mirabelle. The maitre d' and the rest of the staff are delightful, and one of the waitresses serenades the restaurant with "La Vie en Rose" each nightbeautiful. The portions at this Upper West Side gem are generous, and the desserts are spectacular. Although the regulars here tend to be older than at many hip NYC spots, you can't help but feel right at home.

The atmosphere is welcome. The paintings and lighting is cheery, the workers a bit pushy, but the food is better than other west side restaurants. hearty appetite. I liked the duck, chicken and lamb.

Nice neighbourhood place for decent French cooking.

this restaurant gives you a warm welcome, gracious , professional and personal service and excellent old-fashioned french bistro food. definitely worth it, although those under 40 might find it peopled by an older crowd

Subpar french food. The atmosphere is charming but the food is not good. The duck was rubbery, the steak was not tender nor cooked to the temperature ordered.
