Phenomenal Desserts!
Authentic French food and staff. The peach melba was amazing. Loved every second of my experience here.

Not sure what all the fuss is about...
I live in the neighborhood, and I always see how full this place gets so I decided to try it. I'm not sure I see what all the fuss is about. The service is good, the owner is lovely - very warm and welcoming but the food is just standard. A few minutes after ordering, our french onion soup came out. Maybe 3-5 minutes after. Amazing fast, but unfortunately the taste wasn't good. It was pretty obvious that it was pre cooked and just sitting in the oven waiting for someone to order it. Cesaer salad was good, chicken OK, monk fish, OK. Desert was delicious though :) The tart of the day was great! Doubt I'll be back, but it was a good experience...

a superb restaurant
La Mirabelle is a superb restaurant in all respects. The food is uniformly excellent; I have not had a mediocre dish there over the years. The service is accommodating but not intrusive, and the prices are fair. May I suggest that you try the specials, which are often quite innovative and indeed special. The wines by the glass are chosen carefully, by someone who knows wine.

nothing but compliments!
I loved this restaurant! I had the chicken dish, which was fabulous, but my friend had the special of the day- ribs. They were literally the BEST ribs I have ever had in my life! For desert, I had the creme brulee, which was amazing. The service was excellent. The waitresses listened to our every request and was at our table every couple of minutes to check on us. We sat upstairs, which was such a treat. We also got to hear the waitress sing happy birthday to the table next to us! All in all, it was a great experience!

Best LambChops Around
My wife and I live in the neighborhood and are regulars; a touch of France on the UWS. I try Lambchops everywhere I go and they are the best I've had anywhere. Tres Bien!

We enjoy for quiet, easy dining with good food and service
We've been here twice and will return. good food. Sweetbreads are superb. Traditional old-style french food. The duck is not spectacular but all else has been good, including desserts. Not stuffy. Quiet. Excellent service. I feel like I am "at home" there.

singing owner
Well, this is real French, complete with the lady who owns it occasionally taking the time to stop and sing for her patrons (good voice, though she can overdo it). The food is excellent, but of course it isn't cheap (it's French...). The atmosphere is nice, but somehow the room's acoustics interfere with your conversation (then again, there's no background music, except for the above mentioned singing owner!).
