Theatre District's hidden Italian Gem
This was some of the best Italian food I've ever had anywhere and everyone in my party of 7 agreed (all well traveled New Yorkers, and mostly Italians.) The vegetable pasta dish I had was phenomenal- it was in a perfectly seasoned lightly creamy sauce. The other dishes I sampled were equally impressive- especially the lamb and porcini pasta special. I squeezed in a hazelnut gelato for dessert which is a favorite of mine, and was pleased with the light nutty flavor. The atmosphere is wonderful and the attentive, patient and charming waiters were the cherry on top of a lovely dining experience. We will be returning...soon!

The best in the neighborhood!
First time and skeptical as we are of every restaurant in the theater district - we were so pleased and surprised...lovely place, delicious food and excellent service. A real 'keeper'!

Great last minute plan
I was a walk-in at 6:30pm in the theater district. I was with my two sons ages 16 and 22. We were promptly seated without hesitation - the restaurant was at about 90% capacity. We were treated with the utmost respect. Not always the case when dining with young people. The food was delivered very promptly. The Btl of wine that we ordered was always poured when needed. We ordered three pasta dishes that were absolutely delicious!-Fettucine w/meat sauce , Orochiette w/ sausage and brocoli rabe, and a special Fettucine w/ lamb and porcini mushrooms. We split a wonderfully light and tastey Tiramisu that topped off our meal. We had realized that we needed to leave soon. as we looked for our waiter who had been busy with a larger table, the Maitre D quickly took care of us before we even had a chance to try and flag any one down. Every one was really on top of there game. I would absolutely return to this restaurant.

Best pasta in town
Visited wth a large group, everyone raved how good the pasta dishes were, plus the seafood, & the veal was also very good. Only disappointment was the small portion for the meatball appetizer $17.00 for two meatballs, but the fried Zucchini was generous and very tasty. It is a must visit we will go back for the homemade pasta, one of the couples were world travelers & said it was the best pasta they ever had & they just came back from Italy. The waiter could have been a little more patient.

The Restaurant
Overall a good experience, but the management.....the most discourteous people you will ever happen to meet. With owners like this it is only a matter of time before the place gets a bad name.

Buon Appetito
From the appetizer to the dessert my complete party was more than satisfied. The imported mozerellas was as soft as butter and the shoestring zucchini was light and delicious. I had the brunzini(fish) and it was fresh and delciously prepared, others in my party enjoyed the Osso Bucco. Although we barely had room for dessert we tried their homemade Ricotta Cheesecake. I am not a fan of Ricotta cheesecake and passed on it until my friend pushed me into trying a piece and now I will order no other dessert when I go back. This restaurant is a must whether or not you are going to the theater. If not going to a show it is still worth making the trip.
