The food is nothing short of ethereal, and the service is so frighteningly attentive as to conjure suspicions of clairvoyance. That said, the space is VERY cramped. Probably the best French food in the city.

An unforgettable evening! From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable, each morsel more delicious than the one that preceded it, and the room elegant. Not many restaurants combine all qualities like this anymore. Every occasion is special here.

Would like to see this calliber of restaurant remain. Of course it is good. Food quality and service are what you would expect at these prices. But is it as creative, complex as its ilk of the 70s? Absolutely not. French complex cooking died with julia child and her contemporaries. So for good food, good service and high food tabs it is the place to go. It just aint extraordinary.

I love this place. I have tried many french restaurants and we always come back here for more. It is on the pricey side but worth it for the wonderful service from the staff. The decor is warm and romantic. I love the large bouquets of flowers around the room. Save room for dessert! Its a true treat for the pallet! If you can't make it to France make a reservation here for that special night. I would pick this restaurant over Le Cirque anyday!

The absolute finest French restaurant in the USA. A leisurely lunch is pure heaven.

We celebrated a note worthy birthday here. From the moment we arrived, until we left, we were treated wonderfully. The service is beyond compare, and the food, atmosphere, and being personally greeted when you arrive, and also when you go, made this a very special place to dine.
