    try everything

one of the best meals to be had in nyc. upstairs dining room is the place to enjoy josh dechellis inventive explode in your mouth cooking. intelligently selected wines from all over the globe (something for every mood and everyones palate). lastly, there is a nice amount of space between tables so your conversation is not intrusive to other patrons. this is truly a fabulous secret for the time being

Worth a visit if you live/work here or not

Had a great dinner here recently. It was a hot summer night, and not a Thursday or Friday, so this place had fewer patrons than all of the places in the MetLife building that have outdoor spaces. I say good! And once I was in I was very pleased with the atmosphere (mid-century cool in the tapas bar area, banquette chic with Spanish photos on the wall for the dining room.) The service was very good, as was the Mojito (Brazilian style) I had from the bar. But the real deal is the food. This did not disappoint. The tapas are contemporary Spanish, so don't just expect favorites like Manchego and Serrano Ham with olives. Pick anything, you can't go wrong. It was all delicious. As a bonus - based on my visits to other bars in the Station this one has the best priced, and maybe best prepared cocktails. $9.5 VS. $11-12. Not cheap, sure, but less expensive. I plan to go back.

    We'll be back often

Every bite was delectable from olive rolls to dessert. Only disappointment was the glass of too-sweet sangria and the absence of pitchers of "proper" red sangria to go with our meal. Noise level in tapas section is unbearable. Sit upstairs as far back as possible.

    Excellent service and great food!

Went here for our annv and got great service and equally good food. The tuna tacos are great and so are the empenadas. Little pricey but great for a special occasion!

    nice new place

Went last night for the first time and the bar and casual front of the restaurant were jammed at 6PM. We chose to eat in the quieter upstairs area which was nice. We ordered 6 tapas for 2 people which the waitress said would be enough, but it was not as the portions are small. Favorites were the scallop ceviche, grilled langostine, garlic shrimp and tuna tacos. Nice to get a bite or drink but not a destination to run back to for a great dinner.

    2 for Lunch

Josh de Chellis has finally found his niche! Wonderful lunch menu at fair prices. Tapas are very nice size portions and mains are more than ample. Great fish stew and wonderful beef cheeks. The place is quite large but has a nice buzz at lunch. We will return-again and again!
