Hidden treasure on UWS
I love this place. I went there for years when I lived on the UWS, and now that I've moved neighborhoods, I go out of my way to eat there. How can you go wrong with a place that serves amazing authentic Chinese and Cuban food? I love to mix and match: arroz con pollo with hot and sour soup and an egg roll on the side, for example. But everything I've had there has been great. Very unfussy, unpretentious atmosphere. The waiters always remember and take great care of their regular customers. Has the feel of a Chinese diner, which is great. I recommend it to everyone.

The Real New Yorker
Can't go wrong with good food at a place that has stand it's ground own a high rent location longer than i've been alive for... Why haven't they renovated the place? Perhaps to keep prices affordable.

I love their black beans!!!
The food here is soo great. I love the chicken crackling (for the latinos, chiccaron de pollo) its very good. I cook at home but when I'm in the mood for black beans and rice I go to this place. They are always friendly and they speak spanish too. I have never had the chinese food I hear its good. Two people can eat off those portions. The order of chicken (without the bone) has eight large pieces... the place itself is kinda small but who cares its not a "fine" restaurant but the food is FINE for me..

The Best Chinese Food Yet!
Do you want great Chinese food with a Latin twist to it? This place hits it right on the nose! The food is superb and the service is fast and friendly. No need to make reservations or wait long periods of time. I've tried the grilled lobster which is fabulous but the crackling chicken with house special fried rice is #1 at this place. The serving is huge and enough to feed 2 not to mention the price is awesome!
