    Great crepes in Soho

This place smelled so good as I walked by that I had to go inside. Their crepes are delicious. The crepe skin is soft and ever so slightly crunchy, the perfect texture. My one complaint is the slight "paper taste" you get because of the paper package they put your crepe in. If they switch to aluminum or something else, it'd be easier to eat/peel and solve the paper taste issue. Price is slightly high but it's good enough for me to return (just not everyday).

    Not to shabby

I lived in Europe for 7 years, so I know a thing or two about crepes. I walked upon this place by chance and was nicely suprised. I had a cheese and ham crepe and it was almost as I remember the ones in Geneva. They need a bigger location, but i agree with the other reviewer, if you are in the area, it's a perfect snack.

    Pre-movie Eats

La Crepe Parisienne was a convenient place to grab a quick bite before our movie at Angelika Film Center. We had savory crepes which were satisfying, but standard. Their selection of sweet crepes was much more varied. Not necessarily the best value here, as one crepe at ~$9 won't quite make for a full meal, but worthwhile for a nice reminder of sidewalk crepes in Paris. The place is cute, but not much else in terms of atmosphere as you order at the counter and then seat yourself at one of 4 or 5 small tables. A staff of 4 for almost as many patrons made the small space feel very crowded. Worth stopping by if you're in the neighborhood and having a crepe craving, but probably not a staple in the NYC restaurant repertoire.
