    Good find

Very good local find. Despite walking in at 11pm, service was excellent. Food was very good. There can always be better quality but for the price and good atmosphere this is a deal.

    Great Local Find

Looking for tamales in NYC was challenging at the start. Finding La Cocina right around the corner was a blessing. Good classic margaritas and terrific service more than made up for the lack of decor. Can't believe it was under our noses all the time. We will be returning often!!

    Would not come back

Went last night with friends and was disappointed. The atmosphere was cold and rushed and the food pretty average. Our server was rude (despite what seemed like a slow night). We already had drinks, which were still half full when he wanted to bring us another round. Honestly, who wants warm beer? I would not come back. Maybe worth the takeout...

    Always Delicious and Great Value!

We eat at this restaurant at least one week because it is the only great Mexican place in Murray Hill. I have tried them all and La Cocina is absolutely, by far, my favorite. Their sangria is amazing and they will sell by the half pitcher. The food is always fresh and the burritos are in a whole wheat wrap! It is not overly priced and the wait staff is great. I have never been disappointed.

    Ordinary, Very Ordinary

I had dinner here with a friend a few nights ago and it was underwhelming. Staff were slow, bored and didn't care very much. Not many other customers so no atmosphere and music was run of the mill. Portion size was ok but food uninspiring and dull. They didn't have the beer I ordered. In fact many drinks on the drinks list they didn't have. A restaurant way behind the times.

    Pretty Good

Went here on Saturday night with a few friends. The staff was very nice, polite and fast. Great guac, we DID NOT like our frozen drinks, waaaaaay to sweet, the margaritas had so much sugar you couldn't taste anything else. The food was really good, I had the tequila shrimp which was awesome. Overall good place except for the drinks (unless you like drinking simple syrup).

    Yum!

I ordered in from here tonight. The delivery was fast, (approx 10-15 minutes) and the food arrived hot and fresh. It was a delicious cheese enchilada with refried beans and rice, perfect meal for my evening. I would definitely recommend this place to friends, and from what I've heard-their Margaritas are fab.
