I've been to this place quite a few times and the food is always served fast, delicious and hot. I don't know where some people are used to eating out, or why they don't know how to tip, but $200 for 6 people is CHEAP, and a $20 tip for that bill is HORRIBLE. They should have been expecting to pay more than $200 for 6 ppl and they should learn that 20% is the proper and educated way to tip. Go to Mofongo House, you'll love it.

My father invited us out to eat so I recommended la casa del mofongo we love mofongo I'm Dominican born & race so we went food was great the portions on the plate was fare where i had a problem was it was only 6 of us and the bill came out to be just about $200 + $20 tip it's a graet place will go again but i'll make sure I have my pocket ready they should go over there prices I mean it's just platanos main ingridient I know but I'll go again i loved it the family too so we specting another $200 bill...

I was trying to get delivery and my total was $ 9.75 so for .25 they wouldn't deliver. They wanted me to order something else in order to get it delivered. Horrible! I order and go there all the time...not anymore.

After eating this mofongo I'm officially a mofongera! I will be eating here again. The service was not bad, we were seated right away and was served quickly. I had the Shrimp mofongo and my friend had the Pernil both were very good. The atmosphere was nice but a bit loud the restaurant was packed and the bar area was crowded . Would suggest arriving.

I"ve been to this place a couple of times and the food is great...Its never been the case that I didnt like it.The waiters are OK, but the food and ambiance overides that. The waiting time can become long, but its worth the wait. the mofongos are dellicious and the sauce is great.

La casa Del Mofongo Is a very nice place BUT.... The staff (waiters, security and bartenders) are very rude and i believe that for the amount of People that go there they do not have enough staff. I think that is not to safe; there were people arguing at the bar and it escalated to a fight outside the restaurant which security was kind of instigating... what really got me was that after the fight they let the part of the fighting party back into the restaurant making it unsafe for the rest of us.
