Delicious Italian food and awesome pizza
The food is always fresh, savory and gourmet style. I've tried alot of the entrees on the menu as well as the daily specials - one dish is better than the other, hard to pick a favorite. The fried calamari and stuffed mushrooms w/crabmeat (special, when available) are my favorites for appetizers. They start you off with a complimentary hot italian bread basket and butter - Hard to put down - addicting, hot and crusty on the outside, soft and airy on the inside. Alot of the patrons are repeat customers and the waitresses and restaurant staff treat them like family as it is a family owned establishment, they know alot of their customers by name. The restaurant is always close to full capacity when I go there. Service is courteous and accommodating. The food portions are bigger than alot of restaurants I've visited, and many times, I end up bringing a doggie bag home. At the end of my visit I always order a couple of slices and squares and rolls to go. My sister comes in from Jersey and always orders the Brick Oven style pizza pie. Another is the Vodka Sauce Pie, a family favorite. You must try the pizza, better than most pizzerias in Brooklyn!! I have dined here with many of my friends and family on different occasions and they all enjoyed the food immensely!!!! They raved about it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
