ok where do I star!? The prices are awesome, cheap cheap cheap for a rest. in that area but still the potions are super tiny so I guess you are not really saving:/ The whole disappointment tho comes with the service, we've asked to speak with the manager a few times and he never came over because he was "busy". The waiters were ok but they lacked coordination and here we go back to the manager which instead of checking tables and representing the rest. was too "busy" playing with his phone. In a time where people are being laid off it shouldn't be hard finding a good manager, there are so many skilled people out there. Oh well what do I know? I only know that the overall experience wasn't so good and I think I'll stick with deliveries from this place cos dining there is definitely not worth it.

i have been living in nyc for 7 years now. this is the first time i have ever posted on any website like this (though i am a long time user... free rider problem i know). that being said, this place was amazing on so many different levels. First of all, he atmosphere is exactly what you want when you go out for italian in the city. the staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. the selection was excellent, and the wine list was decent. the prices, however, were phenomenal! let me tell you, although some would disagree, most ny restaurants have become so expensive that a night out is for special occasions. this place goes against the grain in that respect. 6 people, wine, drinks, meals, appetizers... $180 all in... as far as nyc goes that is amazing in my book. would recommend to everyone and definitely go back. oh, and the food was excellent as well!

Stumbled in for dinner last night, wow what a surprising dining experience. Great concept most wines in mid-20s.Excellent choices. Food mostly under $15. Ill b back.

La Carbonara offers a wide variety of tasty entrees as well as spectacular specials. I went with my family and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. For a new restaurant La Carbonara is on top of its game!

I went there with my friends the other night and I don't know how many times our table plus people at the bar told the manager, bartender and waitstaff to turn the loud music (which kept changing) down and we felt like we were in some weird club or something. We couldn't even enjoy our dinners. Food-good. Management-Douchebaggie for such a nice place. Customers opinion doesn't matter. So sad to see it run down by a bunch of kids who obviously don't know what they are doing.

Went here with our good friends and had a wonderful meal. The service was a bit slow at first, but then they got on task. The specials were excellent along with the regular menu. We all raved about our dishes. The wines are listed on a blackboard and were a very good value. Overall it was a delicious experience.
