Great food, you need to try the pupusa.
Their food is excellent, priced right and they deliver. Please try the pupusa, it's like a corn patty with cheese.

Amazing food!
This small restaurant has been there for years and I've been coming to it since I was in High School even though I lived in the Bronx. The quality of the food has not changed and it is definitely worth going out of your way to get to for some fresh pupusas and some horchata.

Really Good And Reasonably Priced Food
The food here is unvaryingly well-prepared and delicious. I've never had a bad meal at La Cabana. Prices are very reasonable. Service is generally good, there is usually at least one waitperson on who speaks English well enough to help the Spanish-challenged order their meal. Very highly recommended.

absolutely fantastic food
My g/f and I stopped by here last night (Mothers' Day). It was packed with families so we wound up getting take-out. We ordered pupusas (pork), fried tacos, regular tacos, a tamale, and maduros. Everything was fantastic. I can't believe I've lived in this area for over a year without coming to this place. We will be back again and again I'm sure!

good local choice!
If you live up here and don't feel like going far for dinner check out La Cabana Salvadorena. Friendly service, laid back cozy atmosphere, cheap beer (32oz Salvadorean Regina for $7!) and yummy food. We had the combo and Salvadorean plate, really enjoyed the elote (sweet corn) tamale, papusa (thick, flat, filled corn fritters), and taco (totally different than Mexican). Complimentary pickled cabbage was good too. We'll be back!

Authentic Food
If you're in the market for authentic Salvadoran food, this is the place to go. The cheese pupusas are delicious and the cream they add to the plantains and tamal de elote is heavenly. No fuss, just real good food.

Excellent food
The food is amazing -- pupusas, steak, cortido. The service is okay. No one speaks much English, so it's hard to really judge the service. We generally get take-out, just because the seating area looks so grim.
