Not recommended
I was initially pleased to see a Spanish tapas addition to the neighborhood; however, after a few tries, we will not be returning. The food is underwhelming if not just taking on a manufactured presentation and taste. The wine is unremarkable, and the bar is poorly stocked. Staff is remarkable, in that they are constantly interjecting themselves and inappropriate. And the reviews are true, after all of the above, you'll get a hefty bill.

Tasty food but overpriced
I had a great time at this place. The food was tasty but, found the tapas overpriced. Yes, the waitress is feisty but, friendly and not pretentious; same as the restaurant. You walk in and feel like you enter an old restaurant in Spain. If the price of the tapas were a little more forgiving... I would eat here often and order more tapas... Have not tried the entrees but, the fantastic smells coming from the kitchen was amazing! Next time I will try their paella; looked and smell good from what I saw...:)

not really impressed
I tried this place with my friend and didn't have a good time there. The food that we ordered wasn't fresh at all and the waitress had a bad attitude. I used to like this place way back when it used to be a bistro (great food). It's too bad that things have changed for the worse. Really not recommended

Surprise
We've been walking past this restaurant since it opened in February and it never has many people in it. After being cooped up in our apartment for Irene, there was not much else open so we decided to try it out. What a surprise! Good tapas at reasonable prices, a cozy atmosphere and fantastic service. Our host/waitress/bartender was fantastic. What a great, relaxed neighborhood tapas place! Definitely on the shortlist for the neighborhood.

Cozy place with yummy food
My husband and I just ended up at this place a day after Hurricane Irene, walking around in the city looking for an open place. Found this cute tapas bar, as we got seated the lady at the restaurant Esther told us we should be patient as they were short staffed. With begin short staffed I miss say she ran around and we did not feel like we were waiting around for our food. The tapas the sooo delicious and we felt we were in Spain and some family was feeding us tapas, so warm and loving! One of the best place ever and we def look to return!

Best Tapas
Place is great, cozy, warm and just feels like you are in Spain. Service was wonderful. Great prices! Had a wonderful time with friends. Went back a second time and will go back again :)

Not very friendly at the bar
A week after the restaurant opened, my husband and I decided to try this place. We opted to sit at the bar, which was a huge mistake. The female bartender was rude and unwelcoming - I guess sitting at the bar is not encouraged. . . We were hoping to have a better experience as we live a block away and would have certainly been regulars. It's also fair to note that the servers seemed much friendlier. However, there are too many other places in the area for us to try this place again. Good luck!
