High quality breakfast and brunch away from the crowds
This place is a hidden gem in Hell's Kitchen. Their brunch and breakfast menu is top notch. Leave crowded 8th and 9th avenues, and head over to 10th for space to breathe and the most delicious breakfast and brunch meals in the area.

Best brunch in town!
You have to try la Bergamote for brunch or lunch. Best omelet, make sure to have the almond French toast with fresh berries. Salmon Benedict with caviar is to die for. Great out door terrace in the summer.

Hidden Pastry Oasis
A quaint bistro in the middle of Midtown, La Bergamonte caters to your every desire. With Pastries to die for and food that's far above par, you can taste the freshness in every bite. For chocolate lovers, the Magellan and Trois Chocolats will satisfy the sweetest tooth, and the fruit tarts are amazing. Make sure to swing by for a late brunch and ask about the daily specials.

A Hidden Treasure
This off the beaten path branch of the Chelsea patisserie has wonderful bistro food. We have been back several times. So we have sampled a lot of their dishes. The salads are imaginative and delicious; they have great onion soup and also terrific daily special soups. The salmon was served over haricot verts and wild mushrooms and accompanied by a fresh tasing ratoutille. All for $19.00. The pastries are as good as one could have in Paris. There is a complete dinner for $29.00 that is an absolute steal. And the outdoor tables are lovely for warm weather dining or snacking. The location is a bit out of the way but certainly worth the detour.
