a very anticipated lunch in my 'hood
for 45$, the oysters were well you don't really need a chef for those, but i sent the chowder back had no seafood taste bitter and weird, next came the mussels for 19$, small portion with chorizo had a bad taste or better ill be kind both dishes had strange seasoning and I've never done this bofore ,i mean written a review, but both cooked dishes left me feeling suckered for that price, and believe me ive eaten in some of the best dives in the World and best Restaurants, this place has nerve or a recent grad from chef school who is trying too hard. And I don't go back for dishes that are sent back. 45 was for oysters and mussels. no desert, coffee or drinks,

Funky new restaurant with good food
L&W isn't as expensive as those five dollar signs would indicate -- I had the $14 fondue and was plenty full by the end of the meal! This is a charming, upscale new seafood restaurant with great food and attentive staff. Seafood is not cheap, but there are reasonably priced things on the menu, too. They make their own goldfish and oyster crackers -- great to snack on. We also enjoyed the magnetic poetry stuck to the wall by each table as a conversation starter.
