this place is affordable, great food and a nice change in an all polish neighborhood!

This place is great. We eat here all the time and always are pleased. The Nihon specialty role is to die-for! Everything else I have eaten is also great. The service is super friendly, although not much in terms of ambience. Take out is pretty popular too. This place holds its own in terms of sushi though, and everything is ALWAYS fresh!

I've lived in Greenpoint for 10 years and have seen a lot of restaurants come and go. This is the best Japanese I've had. The food is fresh, delicious and beautiful. This is food made with love. These people are artists. I don't know what took me so long to try it; it's right around the corner from me. They'll be getting a lot of business from me. The best tataki I've ever had. Puts the chain restaurants to shame. My standard Japanese meal is salmon tataki, futomaki and hiziki salad. All three dishes were the best I have ever had, definitely beating the other Japanese in the neighborhood. The futomaki makes the stuff being dished out elsewhere look and taste like a science experiment gone wrong--none of that processed egg filler.

this is my favorite sushi place. and i've been to japan. plus the service is always good and it's pretty inexpensive. i recommend the sashiimi and the crunchy spicy tuna but everything i've had is delish.

Kyoto is hands down some of the best sushi in greenpoint OR williamsburg. Living in greenpoint isn't so great for the food choices (unless you like polish food) so when they opened a sushi restaurant, i was skeptical. I order from here at least twice a week, and the rolls are always perfect and fresh.

Kyoto is a gem for the neighborhood. I order from this place constantly. Delivery is always fast. Staff is great and the portions for the price are amazing. The speciality rolls are created with great care and the presentations are equisite. If you are walking by the door and have not gone in yet, you are missing out. They are by far the best Sushi place in the Williamsburg area.
