My wife and I love the sushi at Kyoto. The staff is wonderful - friendly and fast.

I live in the neighborhood and this place is a delight. The Tuna Dragon roll is incredible and I hope it remains a special forever. The staff is friendly, the sushi is fresh and the specials are creative and huge. Great value. I recommend.

I decided to try this place out after reading several online reviews that raved about the place. Just like I read, this place has amazing sushi. It's very reasonably priced and as mentioned the decor is lacking. The staff is so friendly and courteous. They couldn't say thank you and goodbye enough to me as I walked out the door. This will definitely be my regular spot for ordering sushi from now on...

I LOVE this place, their food is always fresh, always delicious, and reasonably priced! I had only ever ordered take out and recently decided to visit since their food was so awesome. The restaurant itself is nothing to write home about, a tad on the bright side and the decor is totally lacking. no matter though! it's always worth it. highly recommended! I've never used so many exclamation marks.

I became a regular to kyoto when i lived in greenpoint....not becuase it was three blocks from my house, but because the sushi is easily the best i've had in new york and the staff is sweet and courteous. Now i live quite a while away in bushwick but i trek to this gem.....because it's THAT GOOD! the dining room is admittedly small and i can agree that its outdated decor lacks ambience....but really the quality of their food outweighs any aesthetic concern.

Prices are great, food is fresh and tasty - some of the sauces aren't exactly my idea of what they should be but then again it's not like I can' expect my mom's tempura sauce and the one they serve isn't bad at all. The portions are SICK for the price, I ALWAYS find myself ordering more than I can eat!! I'm FROM Japan and I love this place!

We went for dinner one evening and found the service, food, and freshness to be outstanding. The waitress even tore apart our chop sticks for us. Easily some of the freshest sushi ive had in new york. The miso soup was extremely satisfying as well as the seaweed salad and edamame Decor was a little outdated, and the dining room was a tad small. Overall a 5/5.
