Best sushi in Greenpoint
I've been ordering takeout from here for about 4 years and it's always been great. It makes me sad to see so many negative reviews for this place. The eat in experience is not as good as it could be(just not a fan of the atmosphere) but the delivery service is amazing. Sushi is always fresh/definitely the selling point here. Other menu items have been kind of so-so but every roll i've ever tried has been perfect and exactly what I wanted/needed. In short, order some rolls from the comfort of your own home and enjoyyy.

Best in Greenpoint
My family and I have been using Kyoto for years now and they are fantastic. I have never had a problem with the food or the service. The owners are very nice people. It bothers me that some have left such negative comments because this is the best place in Greenpoint. The other choices for food are subpar. The dine in area is small but for lunch and dinner takeout or delivery its wonderful. The seafood is fresh and prepared great. For all the sushi snobs, yes it's not Nobu... but for the pricepoint there none better in the area. there oyster rolls are great btw.. and the soft shell crab is one of my favs... stop the negative comments and go with the best

So-So
I'm not a picky eater but the sushi just wasn't that good. I usually eat everything and we were left a bit disappointed. While the delivery service was extremely fast, and we did receive a lot of food the sushi was lacking. Miso soup was good. Edamame was good. Those little shrimp dumplings were good. But again the sushi was average at best.

Delivery
I was pretty disappointed in Kyoto's food. Most of the reviews were positive, but I found the food to be quite mediocre. My rolls were drenched in sauce and soggy. My husband got chicken katsu (a dish he gets often in other Japanese restaurants). I have never seen chicken katsu made in this way. Lucky he's not that picky, but it definitely was not the way it's supposed to be. I will not be ordering from them again.

best sushi in greenpoint!!
If I could I would order from here everyday. I have never had an experience where the sushi wasn't fresh, and I get food from here very frequently. Well worth the money!

Best bang for your buck in Greenpoint...
I love all the reviews that say...if you have a fine Japanese palate or if you know good Japanese...blah blah blah. This place is hands down the best in Greenpoint for delivery. For dine in, it doesn't have the ambiance of other fancier places, but it's adequate. I've only eaten in there twice. I'd rather them concentrate on the food and have decent prices. I have been a regular customer since they opened. Only once have I had subpar rolls and a spilled miso. The delivery guys are always nice and food that is supposed to be hot is hot and cold is cold. And it's quick.
