Been there to lounge. Very Cool
I've only been to Kush as a guest of a party there. It is an incredible environment full of middle eastern decor just like I'd imagine a casbar in Cairo or somewhere in Morocco. This place is more lounge and less restaurant. The menu is a bit short, mostly appetizers, but the food is tasty and a great snack while having a few drinks. This place is all for the atmosphere. I wouldn't go there for the food alone but if you have a few friends want to do something different in the city, this is a great place for it.

A Trip To the Past
A fantastic interior that makes you feel like you are in a casbah within a south Morroccan medina. The music ranges from North African to Ido -Pop and onward depending on the night. The food is surprisingly tasty and covers a range of Morroccan and Asian tapas. Truly a space that trancends its NY location.

Horrible Experience, anywhere is better
Went on a weekend night, nice decor in a very dark atmosphere, furniture are dirty and I've touched some gum sticked underneath the chair and table! Gross! Moroccan themed place but playing some outdated party music while you having Hookah! They are confused!! Saw a guy spit on the floor while dancing. The website described the place so nice and the bouncers are having attitude like they are Pink Elephant, but what's inside is a complete opposite. Overall, it's a lousy experience. Kush is just a neighborhood lounge which anywhere in the lower east side is better!!
