Just go!
My husband and I are totally in love with this place. We moved to the UES a few years ago and found this place quite by accident. We love every part of it. From the family who owns/runs it to the amazing cocktails lovingly concocted to the always-delightful menu and service. Our biggest dissappointment was finding it closed one Sunday night. However, we rememdied that by going the following night. It is perfect for a date or with a small group of friends who you would like enough to share this place with.

Home away from home!
China and her parents have made my wife and I feel like members of their extended family. Wonderful food and a warm atmosphere filled with local regulars. China's Dad, the chef, bends over backwards to accommodate my wife's GF diet.

Like a home
Kurio is a family run business and it shows. The food is always freshly prepared and the drinks are incredible. But what really makes this little place special is the warm welcome you receive when you are a repeat customer (which you will be). Remember, this place is run by three family members so be patient when they are busy..it is all worth enjoying at a relaxed pace. Eating at kurio is like eating at a good friends home, paying the bill simply feels like you pitched in for the groceries. Enjoy!

Great Neighborhood Place
We have a baby and it is hard to find welcoming places - this is the best. Eat there at least once a week. Fantastic drinks as well

Home away from home!
Tired of noisy dinners after a stress filled business day- then Kurio is THE place to go to unwind. Great small quirky quiet atmosphere with good decent food. Try the polenta lasagna - my favorite. Ask for a wine recommendation from the server China.

Not to be missed
We've eaten here about 6 times, and have thoroughly enjoyed it each time. Each dish is freshly prepared, so it is true that if you want your food fast - go to McDonalds. But for a great meal and great atmosphere, Kurio is the place.

Drinks
I do love that this place is right underneath my apartment. Food isn't bad, but go for the great drink menu!!
