    Rude manager and service

Very crowded restaurant, but does not mean it is good. From the moment you sit down, you feel the pressure and stressful to rush finishing your food. The host and waiter are actually giving the attitude, they just want you to eat and leave, not even give you a time to digest. I had never experience such as poor service restaurant. I wonder why is still many people waiting there, they don't deserve to have a good rating. Food is simple, you can eat at any Korean restaurant. You can even get better quality, better service and better price. I will never go back .

    Good food, poor service

Kunjip is overrated. Their food is good but it's not worth the attitude and the service from the waiters and the hostess/host. They try to shove you out of there as soon as possible, slapping you with a bill.

    Authentic/Tasty Korean In Manhattan

don't expect good service because Kunjip's an extremely popular restaurant with the korean crowd. the bibimbabs are mediocre but the casseroles/stews/meats are beyond delish!! :D

    Amazing food

I've been coming here for years & the food is absolutely amazing. But, the only downside is that it's crowded, the wait can be long, it's noisy - the atmosphere overall isn't that great of an experience. But would you rather eat crappy food in a quiet restaurant or eat delicious food in a restaurant that's filled with energy & excitement?

    Worst service / too crowed

Every time I pass by, there were long lines outside of this restaurant. In fact, it's because the place is too small and crowded. The food is ok, but the service is the WORST! The place was packed as usual, and a waitress brought us the check in the middle of my meal. I left only about 7% of tip. Of course, a waitress stopped me. I explained what happened & told them I didn't like your service at all. She didn't say a word & went into the kitchen. I have no idea why many people are still going this restaurant.

    not a relaxing dinner

There are better restaurants up and down the same street. The potions for BBQ were so little, it is appalling for what they charge. Add insult to injury is the service as if you're doing them a favor by eating there. There may be a lot of locals eating there out of habit, but I will choose somewhere else in the future.
