Great place!
Very nice place. Food is really good (i love the kani salad and the cali rolls). Service is good aswell. Highly recommended

Amazing Experience, Great Service, and Delicious!!
From the outside the place looks a bit small, but as soon as you step inside you see it's actually a nice space, well done, clean, and pretty peaceful. The food (I've been there on average once every two weeks for about a year now) has never disappointed. They serve the best sushi and sashimi that I have come across in NYC. Additionally, their prices are very reasonable (hence once every two weeks). I've been served by every waiter / waitress there, several times now, and they are all friendly and efficient. Not once have I received an incorrect order or felt slighted in any way. They are very attentive to every detail, and quick to make sure sure that everything is the way it should be. Kumo Sushi is a terrific experience, and I recommend it highly. Enjoy!

Favorite neighborhood sushi
I work right around Kumo and come here at least once a week. It's a great value, the staff are really nice and attentive, and I've never had a disappointing meal. Definitely recommended!

Delicious and affordable!
The best deal in Manhattan for a "sushi special". The food is good (love the "fancy roll" and the shrimp tempura roll). I go here once every fortnight, and I am never disappointed. Nice folks, quiet (though I can always do without the music during my little feast!), a mite short on atmosphere, but I like the place and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Great sushi joint
We happened upon this place just walking down the street and took a chance by going it. The atmosphere is definitely "old school" but we really enjoyed the food and the service. It's hard to find good sushi that's not extremely expensive in this area. I highly recommend it.

A+ All The Way!!
We were looking for a sushi place close to where we were staying in the Union Square area and were pleasently suprised to stumble upon Kumo. Despite the place being packed on a Saturday for the "all you can eat" crowd we had a table and a beer within 5 min. The staff was very friendly and fast. The sushi and appetizers are terrifically priced especially the 3 rolls for $9.95. The food came reasonably fast and was very good for the price. The location is very nice; styled in the modern fashion with big screens etc. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. Excellent food, value, and atmosphere for the money, unlike so many places these days!
