Very unique
This ramen place is one unique food venue because it really doesn't have a "ramen-restaurant" vibe. I love the French-cafe like interior and the relaxing atmosphere that goes with it. Regarding the food, I'd recommend the garlic potatoes and the tatsuta fried chicken which are delicious appetizers that goes with sake and beer. They also have small-sized bowls of ramen, which is very nice if you want to try a couple of plates PLUS a ramen.

Ramen hidden gem
This place is hands down my favorite. I went next door when they were closed for a repair and it was disappointing.

Yummy noodles
Spicy miso ramen is the bomb. Appetizers are great, too - especially the guac + salmon tartare. Atmosphere is chill, good for small groups and perfect for dates. Will be coming back.

Shio Ramen is the Best!!
I'm a big Ramen lover & my friend recommended me this place, so I went to Kuboya for lunch with her. Nice atmosphere like a cafe bar, waitress was very nice too. I had Shio Ramen, OMG it was superb!! The soup was amazingly good, this is the best ramen of NYC! I know that Ippudo has good noodle & always packed, Momofuku is expensive but always packed too & also nice, but all thise good ramen places never had such excellent quality soup! If they have nicer side dishes, I would have marked 5 star. I tried some of them, it was OK but not good as their ramen.
