This is the Polish restaurant you want to go to.
I am a frequent patron of Lomzynianka just a short walk away, but when the line was out the door we found ourselves here. Life-changing decision! The borscht was unbelievably flavorful, the stuffed cabbage divine, and the pirogis were unlike anything I've ever had before. The price is about a dollar more an entree than Lomzy, but Krolweskie is worth the small splurge. The service was friendly and prompt, but not overly fussy. We had a great experience, and will definitely be back.

Delicious food, poor service!
Food is great in this place but service poor, the waitresses feels so comfortable there that forget about the costumers, they put the food on your table and then they disappear. We had to go to the other room to look for our server to get the bill.

Not recommended
This was a Saturday afternoon. We were very disappointed! Our menus were plunked down on a table that was soaking wet and asked twice to have it dried, which was hardly done, but not to the end by the waitress with a face of evil. The soup was too salty, my potato pancake was burnt, and the meat was covered in some weird not tasty sauce. This Hungarian beef goulash tasted like it was made a couple days ago and just heated because the beef meat was really mushy and tasteless. We didn’t eat the ordered food but for the end we wanted only coffee. What a poor decision. Coffee was unappetizing, the cheapest one on the market.

where did the cook go?
I just got my lunch delivered and I am horrified. I've been eating there now and then since this place opened. Food was always good (I've been coming there a lot for pickle soup which is the best in entire greenpoint). What a disappointment. I ordered pickle soup and chicken Devolaille . Soup was great as always, but chicken was so bad, I had to throw it out - couldn't eat it. Chicken Devolaille is a chicken breast cutlet stuffed with herbed butter then breadded and fried. It is supposed to be very tender, and butter gives it that special flavor. But what I got from Krolewskie Jadlo was anything but. I didn't get chicken breast, but ground chicken (yuk !) stuffed with margarine, breaded and fried. Absolutely horrible. If it weren't for pickle soup I would still be hungry. One thing for sure - I won't eat there anymore. I prefer Karczma (same owner much better food)

Stop your search now! THIS IS THE PLACE.
My friend recommended this place and boy was I surprised!!!! I'm Russian so its hard to impress me when it comes to NY joints that serve this type of cuisine, so I was pleasantly surprised. The borscht with dumplings is fabulous! Authentic, full of flavor and done just right. We ordered several things off the menu and nothing failed to impress. Felt like being in Grandma's kitchen all over again. I am definitely going to be a regular there now!

Great delivery
I have ordered from here around 15 times. The food is always really good and warm. The delivery is pretty fast. I enjoy dining there also, the staff is really friendly and service is good.
