Loved it!
I've never been to the restaurant but used online reviews to decide that I wanted krik krak to cater my function... and they did a SUPERB job! The food was delicious and the owner was so kind and accomodating!

Not all that. Overrated
I had the Red Snapper. Dry and Salty. I have had better Haitian Food. Considering that there are not too many Haitian Restaurants in the area, if one is in the mood for Haitian food; go for it. Otherwise, go somewhere else. Really overrated by others. The place is tiny. The middle-aged owner tried her best to be friendly.

Cozy Haitian restaurant
I went to Krik Krak with the family. We drove frm Queens to try it out. The food was good but a little salty. I had the fried snapper not bad a little dry. My son had the creole chicken tasty. The fried plantains were awesome. The service was good. The space is tight but with the rent the way it is i could understand. Its worth a a try. It's great to see Haitians living the dream.

Decent and overpriced
This is basically good Caribbean street cart food at a higher price point. Nothing disappointing and nothing special. I have no idea how their weekend delivery service is, as they never answer the phone. The workers at the restaurant are extremely pleasant and warm. Most of the good reviews are, however, highly overrated. That's not a reason to stay away, but you can find better Caribbean food for lower cost if you are willing to go farther afield in Manhattan.

Relaxed and feeling special.
A friend and I were waited on by the owner who was looking very dapper in his tailored grey suit and bright friendly smile. He was extremely kind. I think anything you'd pick from the menu is going to be a winner. I had the goat simmered in Creole sauce. My friend had the snapper. We both agreed the plates were excellent. Plenty of food for a great price. It's rare to find a BYOB place too which adds to the cozy feel of making it your own experience. This place is welcoming and a must try!

Delicioso!
I went here during the Catholic religious week of Lent. I ate here with my girlfriend as we attempted to find a Haitain restaurant in Manhattan as we live on LI. We frequent NYC and also party at SOB's. We figured well Haitian ppl (such as ourselves) are everywhere lets find a dinner spot. We arrived to find a cute store front restaurant with authentic Haitian art and music to complete. I ordered the shrimp creole and my girlfriend had the lambi....WOY! (Haitian term for HEYYY) The food...the sauce DELICIOUS!!! The host/server was respectful and always smiling and we even met with the owner.....MAUDE we loved you! She was dressed very accordingly as a business owner of a restaurant and also VERY gracious! Although its abyob I don't mind bringing along my favorite bottle of Moscato to end my lovely dinner evening at this great HAITIAN restaurant! I am a PROUD Haitian American...very savvy and supportive...I emplore my own ppl and all other ppl to visit KRIK KRAK!
