I've been going to Koto sushi since we've moved to the neighborhood. The prices are reasonable and since it so convenient we end up eating or ordering out every other week. however the last two times the sushi was so poor I had to throw it away- but didbt mention or call them back.

We LOVE Koto! The food is so tasty, everything tastes fresh and flavorful. The service is great--this is also a great place to bring the kids, they even brought out some modified chopsticks for my 3 yr old to learn to use! Its nothing too fancy-pants, just delicious food made by good people!

i love koto! great food and service... also very convenient. they are open later than the local pizza place, so i am there quite often. koto even stayed open late one night so i could make it in from the city to pick up my tasty dinner. an all around great place! thanks koto!!

Having a Japanese wife brings non-japanese sushi into sharp contrast. The seaweed salad was merely decent, but it was served in a martini glass and covered field greens - swing and a miss. Cut the portion a little - add some hijiki, and put it in a small bowl. The atmosphere is ok - perhaps the lights are too bright, or maybe a plant is needed. The value is fair as they give large portions, but the quality is lacking. My softshell crab tempura tasted of plastic. My guess is that there was a plastic wrapped crab trip to the microwave somewhere in there.

My husband and I Love this place. We have taken all our sushi lover friends and family here and they too are blown away. The service is fantastic and consistent. But the most important thing is that the sushi is truly the BEST I have ever had. We never go anywhere else, because we have what we want in our own backyard. If you are a sushi fanatic run here. I promise you won't be disappointed.

My girlfriend and I are sushi fanatics, as are our friends from Manhattan (who consider any outer borough establishment out of contention). We all agree, however, that Koto between the excellent service provided by gracious owners Jessica and Steve (Steve is the brilliant chef) and the food itself is among the best and freshest we've ever had. I highly recommend you introduce yourself to Jessica and allow Steve to guide your palate. They have never steered us toward anything that didn't come in that day... even on the dreaded Monday. Go now!
