    A Tasty Adventure

My girlfriend and I had read about Eurotrip online and decided to try it. We had a very good experience there. We liked the diversity of the menu choices and finally decided to have appetizers and entrees. Thare are so many interesting choices that it was not easy to settle. We were impressed by the lamb dumpling appetizer (large enough to share) filled with lamb chunks, wild mushrooms and wonderful caramelized onions. She always seems to order chicken. Well, the roasted chicken breast with a Shilvowitz glaze was sublime. and extremely juicy, I had the the braised pork which was tender and accompanied by the best sauteed red cabbage that I have ever tasted. I didn't care for the bread dumplings which were a bit starchy but all in all the dish was excellent. We had no room for dessert. This is not one of those trendy places where you get 2 forkfuls of meat and 1 forkful of vegetables to be chic. The portions are very generous and worth the price. As for the service, the waiter was perfectly attentive and had no problems explaining the various Eastern European dishes to us. One more thing that perhaps doesn't affect everybody, but was important to me. The tables are separated well enough, so that you don't have to be involved with the conversations of the other diners. In addition, the chairs are cushioned, unlike so many new places that have the hardest wooden chairs that make lingering over dinner uncomfortable, We will definitely return to try some of the other dishes.

    so so.

food is decent, service was bad, not even a knowledge of a menu that needs some explaining. the bartender said he was new but i had been there 3 weeks earlier and he was there. how long does it take to learn a small menu? another big problem, the restaurant around the block has been running a wine deal every monday for over a year, euro trip has copied the exact deal, on mondays... be creative... dining room is like an echo chamber. lots of money put into this place... good luck, i will not be back.
