Nice deco, healthy meal, good service
I love this place. They recently changed the deco and it makes me feel comfy. I had korean bbq that comes with tons of fresh vegetables plus side of salad, rice, sauces, and side dishes(also vegetables) so I could make a huge veggie wrap. They gave me cute little towel smells like jasmine flower to wash my hands. I tried Winter Breeze cocktail and Sweet Potato Pocket for desert. Those were good too. Friendly staffs and the Bartender was very cute though.

Best Korean, bar none!
Don't listen to the cranky folks who tell you that this is subpar to what they're used to eating in K-Town. Let them have their tired, mediocre banchan and warmed-over dishes. This place is amazing! There is a high level of attention to detail that has gone into the making of the dishes here, as well as the decor. My wife and I always come here for special occasions, and are unfailingly greeted with warmth. They even remember (without prompting) my wife's gluten intolerance and substitute other ingredients for the soy sauce in her dishes. Every meal at Kori is a treat. It is one of those great little neighborhood places where you feel like you get to know the staff, and they go the extra mile to take care of you. If I would change one thing, it's the music, which can be a bit trendy, but everything else is perfect.

Gochujang Pasta= Best thing ever!
I heard great things about this place and finally decided to try it last night for the first time. my expectations were exceeded. I had the crispy seafood scallion pancake and the gochujang pasta. Both were delicious (I have never had a pasta that tasted like that in my life- brown rice spaghetti with crushed salmon. full of flavor and very generous portions). My friend and I shared a creamy sake, "kong" that was very tasty. I go eat Korean food quite often and this was by far the best Korean food I've had. For the quality of the food, the romantic atmosphere, and the very attentive staff, the prices are very reasonable. I am a huge fan. I will definitely be back!

food discription a disaster!
I really enjoyed the tofu appetizer. Unfortunately, I ordered the "12 root vegetables over rice" for dinner. It arrived as a cold salad over rice. There was (only one root vegetable)shredded carrot, shredded lettuce, shredded cabbage and bean sprouts. I was terribly disappointed and honestly felt ripped off...

wow the best experimental korean in town
this is not a place to get a korean bbq or kim chee, although they do serve a good bi bim bop. however, this is my favorite korean place in town. its korean, but fusion korean and everything tastes *delicious*. they have some amazing cocktails too. absolutely a must to go if you're ever in the downtown/tribeca area.

Healthy-feeling lunch treat
Chic but unpretetious atmosphere. Consistently tasty food. I've been 5-10 times and get the tofu & seafood soup or the salmon lunch box. Perhaps my favorite part, though, is being served a small cup of clear soup as soon as I sit down every time (at least in winter). The broth is so mild it's almost like tea, and just faintly salty and spicy with slices of radish (?) at the bottom. I tell myself I'm helping my immune system when I fork over the $10 tab for the main meal.

Great for just hanging out
I wouldn't go here for an authentic korean food, but the food does taste good, and it's nice to grab some drinks and eat at the same time. They have this nice pear sorbet..mmm.
