I ordered a kimchi chigae and dukbokgi on a Wednesday night. I thought they would be harmless items difficult to mess up. Boy was I wrong. The food arrived promptly. I am actually wondering if they shoved garbage in to the soup. Both the chigae and dukbokgi were NOT FRESH. As in, I could tell it was really old. Like a week + old. There was NO kimchi in the chigae but odd bits of miniscule diced onion/cabbage mixture -- exactly like dumpling filling. It was like they took all their garbage and chopped it up and threw it in the soup. The tofu was also in small broken up chunks. Honestly it looked and tasted like a hundred people's leftovers thrown in together. The dukbokgi: again, OLD. That sauce base must have been sitting around since September (it is mid-October now). It was acrid. I took a few bites but could not bring myself to eat either. I'm eating the bowl of rice they gave me (fresh!) and calling it a night. NEVER eating food from here again.

This place is like grabbing food at a Korean supermarket. I ordered kimchi fried rice - upon taking the first bite I said this is cold and the server said oh yeah it is because we make it in be morning. Awesome. What a waste of money.

Since I moved from Kips Bay to Upper East, I been researching on local restaurants. After 3 month I found this neighborhood gem. If you like Korean food this place is a must. My husband and I delivery order of yook gae jang( hearty spicy beef soup)*good for after drinking or day after*, fried spicy rice with pork for me and beef for him. Delivery was pretty fast. They provided kimchi and pickled radish. It was sooooooo delicious. They also have extensive menu and you could order right from yelp or grubhub . I can't wait to try other food on the menu. Bibimbap is next! ;)

Delicious addition to the neighborhood, though you'd never know it from the decor. Hot Stone Bibimbap, Seafood Pajeon, Mandoo, Jab-Chae and (even) the house salad all recommended, but that's all I've had the chance to try. Excellent, friendly and fast service.
