The food was definitely a pleasant surprise; a unique cuisine (Kerala) that doesn't often find mainstream prominence in the city's Indian restaurants. A bit on the pricey side, but I didn't leave feeling short changed on service or portions. The only complaint: the restaurant is very crammed into a tight space, and there is only one restroom. I did feel a little claustrophobic at times.

I ordered masala chai, lentil and coconut milk soup and onion rava masala dosa. The food quality was exceptional, presentation very delicate - the tea was brought in a copper cup sitting in a copper bowl very elegantly. The rava masala was crispy from the first bite to the last unlike many places where it's get soggy quickly. The soup was delicate and fragrant. I loved this gentle place and would highly recommend it. The chef I was told was a female which is rare in Indian restaurants and she is from Kerala. I can't wait to go back.

being originally from kerala, i felt that there were no good indian restaurants here in manhattan that do justice to the great non-vegetarian cuisine from south india. this restaurant absolutely nails it! definitely home away from home! big thanks to the chef! :)

Ate there in the first week. The food was not bad, but given the competition around not great. Being new, they were trying very hard to please which worked to our advantage. We only ordered vegetarian food and were satisfied. May try again once we hear more reviews.
